I got the "Wordless Wednesday" picture of my nephew Keenan via text from my step sis yesterday. I showed it to Carlie and Jacelyn because they have been asking about him a lot. Carlie grabbed the phone out of my hands and said very energetically "Mom! He is so sweet I just wanna dunk him in my coffee!" bwahahahahaha!!!!
BTW, Keenan is doing FABULOUS! He has been able to nurse and is awake and alert! Hopefully he'll get to go home this week!

Disney on Ice!
We had so much fun at Disney on Ice this past Sunday. We had such a great time. The show was very well put on. The lighting, the pyrotechnics, the acting, and the skating stunts were all perfect! Carlie said "Mom, this is AMAZING!" lol. Jacelyn said that her favorite part was Tinkerbell flying in the air. My MIL was supposed to go with us but couldn't because her mother was sick. We had an extra paid ticket so I decided to invite my little nephew Trae who wasn't going to be able to go before. I'm so glad that he got to come with us because he had so much fun. He was dancing a singing the entire time! My 8 yo nephew Blake acted too cool for it but he admitted later on that it was really neat! We will for sure go back again when they come back around!

He's off the Ventilator!
Keenan is finally off the ventilator and just has a little oxygen and a feeding tube. He is also opening his eyes and isn't having to be sedated anymore! He was finally able to be held by his mommy and daddy. My mom and step dad went to the hospital tonight and they even got to hold him for the first time in his whole two weeks of being here! My step sis said that they expect to go home and the beginning of the week!!! There were times that the doctors said he wouldn't make it another 4 hours and now he's getting ready to go home! He is truely a miracle and I just wanted to say THANK YOU very much for all of the thoughts and prayers. They worked!!!

Another Update and Another Pic
Baby Keenan is off the ECMO!!! YAY! This is SUCH good news! He's on about 30 breaths per minute on his ventilator per my mom which is also pretty good because he was on 40bpm's. They still have him slightly sedated and are working on weaning him off of everything now as long as his respiration and lung functions keep improving. He has started opening his eyes for his mommy and daddy and is moving a little bit when he hears their voices. He still looks pitiful in the pictures but hopefully in the next few weeks he'll be completely unhooked from all of the wires and machines be in his mommy's arms!

Picture of Keenan!
My step sister sent me this picture of Keenan last night. It's the first close up picture that I've seen of him. She said that his hair is curly on the back. He is still swollen so it's hard to tell who he looks like but he for sure has Tara's ears and I think her nose. She said that he's still doing good and he will most likely be taken off of the ECMO on Monday as long as his vitals and everything remain stable! YAY! The power of prayer is A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!!! Thank you all for praying and keep it up until he's home in his mommy and daddys arms!
